Supporters of the Charter commit to creating jobs which can offer flexibility in hours, location and working patterns, wherever possible. Providing greater equality of opportunity, enabling access to work and creating a more diverse and inclusive workplace, helping us utilise the skills and talents of our workforce, whilst at the same time considering health & wellbeing and carbon reduction impacts.
Demonstrating commitment to excellent practice
If you want to take it a step further, and demonstrate excellence, Members of the Charter will put their commitment to Flexible Work into action within their organisations by meeting the set of criteria. Charter members will be expected to provide evidence of enabling a more flexible workforce to access a broad diversity of skills and talent
- Designing jobs with flexibility wherever possible.
- Having a greener flexible working policy which includes but is not restricted to location of work/home working, hours of work and working pattern.
- Advertising all jobs with clarity on the option of job flexibility from the outset.
