How do I join the Charter?

We support employers wherever they are on their journey – whether it’s committing to raising standards, developing good employment, elevating practices further, or mentoring others to do the same.

Organisations of any size or sector in the West of England region can join the Charter as either a supporter or member. This includes the whole of Bath and North East Somerset, Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire. Simply complete the form below to join a network of key organisations in the region committed to elevating work conditions, employee wellbeing, and success.

What happens next?

Supporters

Supporters of the Charter are employers who have committed to improving their practices by working towards the seven Charter characteristics.

  • Step 1

    Give us your details and we will send you an Action Plan to complete, identifying where your organisation can make positive changes against one of more of the Charter characteristics. You will also be invited to an optional information session to learn more about the Charter.

  • Step 2

    Once you’ve completed your Action Plan, you’ll get a supporter toolkit full of resources and materials to help you implement the positive changes you’ve identified.

  • Step 3

    We’ll work with you to create a personalised business strategy, helping you improve across the seven characteristics at a pace that suits you.

  • Step 4

    You’ll join the Charter network and have the opportunity to attend workshops and events for the characteristics you want to work towards. If you’re interested in becoming a member, you can contact our team for further support.

  • Step 5

    On a yearly basis, and with the support of our team, you’ll review your action plan, charting progress against your employment practices.
